Stretching along Italy's southern coastline, the Amalfi Coast is a run of cliffside towns, terraced lemon groves and small harbours linked by one famously winding road. Positano, Amalfi and Ravello each have their own character, but all share the same steep streets, pastel buildings and views out over the sea. It rewards travellers who are happy to move at a slower pace, whether that means a long lunch, a boat trip along the coast, or simply finding a good spot to watch the evening light change.
